This advanced Sense-Ware T-229/4P Flame Detector test lamp works as UV, IR or UV/IR flame detector which detects in the 185-235 nm UV and 4.4 µ IR frequency ranges. Operating as UV detector, it detects a maximum distance of up to 8 meters while 4 meters of test range when operating as IR and UV/IR flame detectors.

Most of our IR Flame detector testers feature extra alarm criterion, analyzing the fire’s flicker frequency. Our test lamp T-229/4P has continuous pulse operating characteristic which put the device into the pulse mode by selecting the switch on the left side of the test lamp. Thus, it emits pulsed light with a frequency of approx. 2 Hz. After the alarm delay time the IR or UV/IR flame detector will activate.
